Initial Membership Drive
Throughout February and early March, we’ve been hard at work finding contact information for every innovative member and organization within our community. We have had some rather cool responses thus far, including some who find us to be redundant. While there are other organizations in Casper that bring together various other groups and businesses, we started Casper Coalition in order to unite those groups into a holistic view of Casper’s wide array of people who are working to make Casper happily livable and thriving.
Hopefully, you’re here reading this because you’ve received a call or an email and you wanted to learn more about who we are and what we plan to do. You’re in luck! Casper Coalition aims to unite Casper’s community at large in order to combine resources and talents to solve issues facing our city. Whether it’s traffic and pedestrian safety, the growing homelessness crisis, communication between educational organizations and our school district, or “brain-drain,” where we lose the children we’ve spent time and money to educate to other states, we can tackle them all and be better off for it.
Overall, we want every citizen in Casper to realize that they have the power to make positive changes to our city. We want to provide the channels to affect that change by educating the public about our existing organizations and projects. As we continue to grow and expand, we want people to come to us with problems to solve. We’ll have the creative problem solves who are capable of finding solutions.
We hope you join us for our first meeting at The Nicolaysen Art Museum on Friday, April 4th, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM (doors open at 5:00 PM). Please RSVP to admin@caspercoalition.org, or feel free to drop by the day of our meeting.
Thanks for reading, and we hope to see you soon!
